Open living room

The open living room creates a trusting space in which people can show themselves in a safe setting and meet each other openly and authentically. Through an atmosphere of benevolence and acceptance, wishes, needs, but also insecurities and vulnerability can find expression. Social contact and community-building activities form the basis for a very diverse program.

In today's world, we see many people who are increasingly suffering from loneliness due to the spread of digitalisation, anonymisation in the big city and the disintegration of extended families. Daily togetherness often runs very much on the surface, much remains unspoken, and we hide behind various masks. The open living room wants to create a protected space so that social contacts can develop with a quality of deeper connection and trust.
