Purpose
- The purpose of the Foundation is also expressed in its name: Malkut is the Old Testament Hebrew expression for the "Being King of God", the "Kingdom of God", the nearness of which is realized through Jesus' work until today.
- The Founder is firmly convinced that the risen Jesus Christ is constantly building up his church anew today, on the confession of him (Mt 16,18), that God is also bringing about new forms of faith and church today (Is 43,19). It is good for the "Petrine" official church if it does not only look resignedly at forms that were good in the past and have had their day today, but notices where Christ makes faith come alive today (so-called charismatic - Marian principle of church).
- These often small beginnings of new church formations and church becoming are to be noticed, supported, examined and promoted by the Foundation. They are often projects in which the disciples of Jesus place themselves at the service of people in the spirit of charity, especially of those who are poor, marginalized and pushed to the edge.
- Through this Foundation, the founder wants to put the Gospel verse Lk 8,3 into practice and support Jesus and the disciples with what he has.
Which projects can be supported?
- In the sense of Jesus' love of neighbour, support should be given to people in need of humanitarian or spiritual help and pastoral care, without distinction of religion, origin, gender and age. The only important thing is that the projects supported by the Foundation offer these people help in the sense of the Good Samaritan, physically, mentally or spiritually and religiously.
- In this way, the Foundation focuses on supporting institutions, associations and projects that either aim to work in new, innovative ways as a pastoral-pastoral church, or projects that place themselves at the service of people and are in an ecclesiastical context (direct or indirect sponsorship).
Founder
Dr. Marcus König was born in Vienna in 1973 and graduated in 1991. He first began to study technical physics, but soon recognized his vocation as a priest in the Roman Catholic Church. So, he entered the Vienna seminary in 1992 and studied theology in Vienna, graduating with very good results in 1997. In 1998 Marcus König was ordained deacon and in 1999 priest for the Archdiocese of Vienna. Already during his time as a student, he got to know the "Focolare Movement" (fokolar-bewegung.de) through his friend Harald Mally and Marcus Piringer, and has been one of its sympathizers ever since. In addition to his chaplaincy in Vienna - Aspern, he began his doctoral studies with Prof. DDr. Paul Zulehner in pastoral theology, which he completed in 2004. In 2005 he became parish priest of Tullnerbach alongside his 4-year position as an assistant at the Institute for Practical Theology at the University of Vienna. In 2011 he also became parish priest of Purkersdorf. Since 2016, he has been the head of the newly founded pastoral area Wienerwald-Mitte and dean of the Purkersdorf deanery.
«But I say unto thee, Thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church»
Matthäus, 16,18
The year 2015 marked another significant turning point in the Founder's personal life, as he suddenly had a considerable fortune at his disposal due to the death of his father. In order to be able to sustainably do good in the spirit of Jesus and to help build small pieces of the Kingdom of God, he established this charitable foundation in 2019.

I grew up in a church that is practically getting smaller and smaller. That's why I've always been interested in how/where/why the Church can grow... - «Finding out what God is doing right now and participating in it» - is like «learning to fly» - adventurous, charming, always new and beautiful!
