Together for a New Africa
Together for a New Africa started in 2014 and has involved youth, institutions and networks in its elaboration. The pilot phase of the program started in the East Africa region and the Democratic Republic of Congo, with a special focus on the challenges of the Great Lakes region. However, the aim is to replicate and expand the initiative across the continent following the successful completion of this pilot initiative.
The vision of Together for a New Africa is a continent characterized by good and participatory governance that contributes to the common good of all.
The mission of Together for a New Africa is to empower African young people to address the key challenges of their continent by fostering and developing a culture of unity appropriate to the African context through lived experiences, training, mentoring and networking.
«Young people should be able to face the key challenges of their continent by promoting a culture of unity."»
